DL4 Switch upgrade worked like a charm
installed these on my DL4. I initially thought the pre-wired cables were too short, but they lined right up nicely after putting it together. My DL4 feels so much smoother now.

The switch on my TS10 was in bad shape. Had to hit it at least a dozen times (hard) for it to change on/off. I knew the switch was faulty. This replacement switch fixed it right up!! Love it!

VPJR Volume Buffer Retrofit Kit
A much needed upgrade to my old VP Jr!
I sent one of my two VP Jr's into Griffin to have them alleviate the nagging issue of "tone-suck" from this pedal. Both of my pedals have seen a ton of mileage, and this mod breathed new life into both of them! The tuner-out now works better than ever--working fantastic with both my PolyTune2 and PolyTune3, as well as my old TU-3! No treble loss to speak of, and the low-mids, and bass frequencies ring true without being too muddy! Totally worth it!
I purchased the DIY mod kit for my second VP Jr, and installed it with no problems at all. If you're smart enough to turn on a soldering iron, you can do this mod yourself in no time. I also added an external DC jack to the faceplate to save the amount of wire I needed to run to plug it in. Now I'm all set!
I bought a brand-new, third VP Jr for a third board I'm building, and ordered another Griffin mod kit so I can get it squared away as soon as it arrives!
Ten Band EQ Silent Night Mod Service
In A Silent Way
This review is regarding the "silent night" mod (including the "silent step" relay). This is a definitely a necessary upgrade if you have one of the old 18 volt Kerry King EQ pedals. I had one of these when they were new & remember them being a little noisy, but not as hissy & static heavy as the one that I picked up on Reverb recently. I ordinarily use another outfit for my pedal mods & repairs, but they haven't ever cracked one of these open. It took a while to find a shop that did. In fact Griffin is THE only one I found that offers this service. Short & sweet: this was garbage & now it is amazing - in fact probably better than new. If you've read this far, but don't own an EQ pedal, the 18 volt MXR Kerry King EQ is killer once you get it cleaned up. Modded, it may be the best one available.
DL4 Smart Presets Kit

This worked really well. As Chris B. said it could be bigger so it's easy to solder to. I had problems with the pads being so close together. I'm not great at soldering. There's no reason it should be that small. There is tons of room in there. Other than that it's amazing.

I got this mainly for the preset switching. I don't think I'll use the 1/8th note much. It works really well and was pretty easy to install. The pads were really close together and hard to solder to.
