Shipments

Your pack shipment:

Packages are generally dispatched within 2 days after receipt of payment and are shipped via USPS or UPS with tracking and drop-off without signature for items that are in stock and do not require a service performed. If you prefer delivery by USPS with required signature or insurance, an additional cost will be applied, so please contact us before we ship your item(s)/package(s). Whichever shipment choice you make, we will provide you with a link to track your package online.

Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees are fixed, whereas transport fees vary according to total weight of the shipment. We advise you to group your items in one order. We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them. Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect fragile objects. If you don't want your item to be in an envelope and would rather have it in a box, choose the appropriate shipping.

Boxes are amply sized and your items are well-protected.

Some countries have import restrictions on electronic goods. It is the customers responsibility to be informed of their own countries import restrictions. Griffin Effects does not accept any responsibility for any losses due to customs seizure. You have to know about the import duty rule of your country before placing order. Griffin Effects is not responsible for customers' import duty and customs cost.

All items shipped are the customers responsibility and are no longer the responsibility of Griffin Effects unless insurance is purchased. Regardless, we are willing to help out in any way possible to locate or seek reimbursement for lost items.

Returns:

All shipping costs for returns are the sole responsibility of the customer unless authorized by Griffin Effects. Any return shipping costs reimbursed by Griffin Effects must be approved before shipping by Griffin Effects. Return shipping services must first be approved by Griffin Effects to receive any reimbursement.

Electronic Items:

New Items: Items of electronic nature cannot be returned unless authorized by Griffin Effects due to manufacturing defects. Item(s) must be returned in original condition, with original packaging and paperwork, and show no evidence of tampering or misuse. Electronic components may not be returned once installed. Customer must test for defect before installing to qualify for return.

Used Items: Used Items of electronic nature cannot be returned and are sold "as-is". This includes pedals, cables, component parts, guitars, amplifiers, etc.

Modification Kits: Modification kits cannot be returned unless authorized by Griffin Effects. There may be cases where the modification kit can be exchanged for another in event of the wrong kit being purchased and it solely determined by Griffin Effects. Modification kits are subject to the Terms and Conditions.

Modified Customers Pedals: While we know not every modification is for everyone and may sound different with different gear, Griffin Effects is not responsible for any dislike or how a modified pedal works with the customers gear unless there is a defect in the modification of the pedal. Whether or not there is a defect will be determined by Griffin Effects. Griffin Effects will either replace or fix the pedal at Griffin Effects sole discretion. If a customer sends a pedal to us and we find nothing wrong with it, it is the customers sole responsibility to pay for all shipping.

Backorder:

Any backordered items will cause a delay in shipping the items that are in stock. If the backordered item takes longer than 5 business days to return to stock, it is Griffin Effects sole discretion to ship in stock items before the backordered items arrive back in stock. If you wish to avoid any shipping delay, order any backordered items separately.
